STATUS OF ALBRING DRAIN PETITION PROJECT
- July 15, 2008 Mark Ostrander, 14117 Bierman Road Riga, MI 49276, was mailed petition for the Albring Drain.
- July 31, 2008 petition returned by Mark Ostrander.
- August 22, 2008 petition signatures checked, petition found valid.
- August 26, 2008 County Treasurer’s Certificate certifies ‘no unpaid taxes.’
- October 21, 2008 a Board of Determination determined the Petition to be necessary.
- November 3, 2008 Lenawee County Clerks Office contacted and no appeals filed on Determination of the Necessity of the Petition.
- June 2009 Survey complete.
- September 2009 Engineering & Design complete.
- September 24, 2009 Notice of letting of Drain Contract and Day of Review of Apportionments
- October 20, 2009 1PM Contract Bid Opening
- November 3, 2009 9AM to 5PM Day of Review of Apportionments
- February 2010 Project is substantially complete, restoration in the spring.
