STATUS OF COOK DRAIN PETITION PROJECT

-       April 9, 2001 Raisin Township Board authorized a resolution for Township Supervisor Larry Crittenden to sign a Petition for improving the Cook Drain and adding a branch.

-       October 25^, 2001 Board of Determination found petition necessary.

 -       March 21, 2002 Feller & Finch & Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers selected to perform a study on the Cook Drain and adding a branch.

-       April 17, 2003 preliminary plans received from study by Feller & Finch & Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers.

-       2004-2005 petition project evaluated while gravel mining operations were established in the vicinity of the drain.

-        May 22, 2006 study completed by Feller & Finch & Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers.

-     2005 -2006 petition project evaluated while review of proposed plat of Quarry Heights was designed.

-       May 2010 open ditch of the main drain surveyed by Lenawee County Drain Commissioners Office.

-       February 22, 2011 Informational Meeting, 7:00 PM Raisin Charter Township Community Center.
