STATUS OF BILBY TILE DRAIN PETITION PROJECT

- September 12, 2006 Ron Boglarsky, 9210 Kingsley Drive, Onsted, MI 49265, was mailed petition for the Bilby Tile Drain.

- January 22, 2007 petition returned by Sharon L. Gibbs.

- March 5, 2007 petition signatures found valid.

- March 7, 2007 Treasurer’s Certificate certifies ‘no unpaid taxes’.

- May 17, 2007 a Board of Determination determined the Petition to be necessary.

- November 29, 2007 notice to land owners along drain mailed for obtaining information on drainage issues with tile.

- Survey of Drain in April 2008.

- Engineering design in progress.

- Engineering design completed for Slee Road Branch. Easement acquisition on-going.

- Bid Letting August 24, 2010, 1:00 PM Lenawee County Drain Commissioners Office.

- Day of Review of Apportionments, August 31, 2010, 9:00-5:00 Lenawee County Drain Commissioners Office.

- Construction started November 17, 2010 by Constructive Development Inc,, Todd Lyell, President.
