NOTICE OF MEETING OF BOARD OF DETERMINATION
Notice Is Hereby Given to you as a person liable for an assessment that the Board of Determination, composed of Robert Knoblauch, Ken Mitchell, Ted Dusseau or alternate will meet on Thursday, October 12, 2006 at 7:00 P.M. at Woodstock Township Hall, 6486 Devils Lake Hwy., Addison, Lenawee County, Michigan, to hear all interested persons and evidence and to determine whether the drain known as the Horton & Branches Drain, as prayed for in the Petition for "cleaning out, relocating, widening, deepening, straightening, tiling, extending or relocating along a highway commencing at a point located in West shore of Devils Lake, 264 ft. North and 330 ft. East of SW corner of SW 1/4 SE 1/4 - Section 27 (T-5-E, R-1-E), thence proceeding across Section 27, through Devils Lake Highway, across Section 27, across Section 34, across Section 33, through RR grade, across Section 33, through Rollin Highway, across Section 33, across Section 32, across Section 29, through RR grade, across Section 29 to Point of Terminus or to another point found necessary, according to survey by J. L. Richard dated April 11, 1928.
"ALSO, including West branch commencing at Station 97+00 of Horton & Branches Drain in SE 1/4 - Section 29 (T-5-S, R-1-E), thence proceeding across Section 29, through Greenleaf Road, across Section 29 to a Point of Terminus or to another point found necessary, according to survey by J. L. Richard dated April 12, 1928.
"ALSO, including East branch commencing at Station 102+10 of Horton & Branches Drain in SE 1/4 - Section 29 (T-5-S, R-1-E), thence proceeding across Section 29, through RR grade, across Section 29 to a Point of Terminus or to another point found necessary, according to survey by J. L. Richard dated April 11 & 12,1928."
dated September 7, 2006, is necessary and conducive to the public health, convenience or welfare of Township in accordance with Sections 72 and 191 of Act No. 40, P.A. 1956, as amended, and for the protection of the public health of the following cities, villages and townships: Woodstock Township.
Proceedings conducted at this public hearing will be subject to the provision of the Michigan Open Meetings Act and you are further notified that information regarding this meeting may be obtained from the County Drain Commissioner. You Are Further Notified, that persons aggrieved by the decisions of the Board of Determination may seek judicial review in the Circuit Court for the County of Lenawee within ten (10) days of the determination.
