FLOODWOOD CREEK DRAIN & BRANCHES DRAIN DRAINAGE DISTRICT
NOTICE OF DRAIN INSPECTION & SURVEY
The Floodwood Creek Drain & Branches Drain is located in the SE portion of Lenawee County. A petition requesting consolidating eight (8) Drainage Districts into one (1) District and to have a watershed study performed to determine and recommend maintenance and/or improvements was returned on February 2, 2005.
A Board of Determination held on April 12, 2005 determined the petition to be necessary.
The Lenawee County Drain Commissioner has contracted with the Spicer Engineering Group to perform surveys and inspections of the drain. Representatives of the Spicer Engineering Group will be inspecting the channels, culverts, tiles, and catch basins associated with the consolidated Floodwood Creek Drain & Branches Drain within the drainage district starting the week of September 4, 2006 through November 30, 2006.
