NOTICE OF MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DETERMINATION

    Notice is hereby given to you as a person liable for an assessment that the Board of Determination, composed of Cliff Buehrer, Vivian Brighton, Robert Knoblauch or alternative will meet on Thursday, July 20, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. at Fairfield Township Fire Hall, 9965 Brown St., Weston, Lenawee County Michigan, to hear all interested persons and evidence and to determine whether the drain known as the Raymond & Witt Drain, as prayed for in the Petition for "cleaning out, relocating, deepening, straightening, tiling, extending, enlarging or relocating commencing at a going in West bank of Nile Drain, 356ft. North of South line of N 1/2 NW 1/4, Section 35-Farifield Township, Lenawee County Michigan (T-8-S/R-3-E), thence proceeding across Section35, through M-52 and across Section 34, according to surveys by J.L. Richard, dated October 28 1909 and November 20, 1918, or to another point found necessary to provide adequate drainage relief.

"Brush and debris to be removed and piled at intervals on right of way, separated from spoil, to be disposed of by landowners.

"Tile outlets to be plainly marked in advance of construction

"Existing tile determined to be replaced shall be destroyed

"Existing and Functioning connections to the tile, as may be found, shall be reconnected to the new tile.

"Drain district boundaries and apportionments of benefits to be reviewed and changed, if found necessary for these improvements, by the Drain Commissioner and said improvements are necessary and conductive to the public health, convenience or welfare of Fairfield Township"

dated May 12, 2006, is necessary and conductive to the public health, convenience or welfare of Township in accordance with Sections 72 and 191 of Act No. 40, P.A. 1956, as amended, and for the protection of the public health of the following cities, villages, and townships: Fairfield Township.

    Proceedings conducted at this public hearing will be subject to the provision of the Michigan Open Meetings Act and you are further notified that information regarding this meeting may be obtained from the County Drain Commissioner.  Persons with disabilities needing accommodations for the effective participation in the meeting should contact the County Drain Commissioner ate the number noted below (voice) or through the Michigan Relay Center at 1-800-649-3777 (TDD) at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting to request mobility, visual, hearing or other assistance.  Minutes of the meetings will be on file in the following office:

    You are Further Notified, that persons aggrieved by the decisions of the Board of Determination may seek judicial review in the Circuit Court for the County of Lenawee within ten (10) Days of the determination
