NOTICE OF DAY OF REVIEW OF APPORTIONMENTS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that on THURSDAY, 15th DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 2005, the Apportionment of Benefits for the parcels within the Loch Erin Lake Level Special Assessment District and a Computation of Costs thereof will be subject to review for one day, from 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. at the Office of the Lenawee County Drain Commissioner's Office, 320 Springbrook Avenue - Suite 102, Adrian, Michigan, 49221.

The Lenawee County Drain Commissioner, acting on behalf of the County of Lenawee, serving as the statutory delegated agency of the County, has an established special assessment district as ordered on September 23, 1977 in Lenawee County Circuit Court, Adrian, Michigan, by the Honorable Judge Rex B. Martin, for parcels surrounding Loch Erin Lake and has apportioned a schedule of cost benefits to each parcel of land to benefit from the maintenance and seasonal lake level project of the Loch Erin Lake level as set by court order on June 6, 2005 by the Honorable Judge Conrad J. Sindt.

Plan copies, detailing the proposed project, will be available for public inspection at the Lenawee County Drain Commissioner's Office, 320 Springbrook Avenue - Suite 102, Adrian, MI 49221.

Loch Erin Lake Level Day of Review of Apportionments.

Pursuant to Act No.162 of Public Acts of 1962, any owner of land within the Special Assessment District or any City, Village, Township, District or County feeling aggrieved by the Apportionment of Benefits made by the Drain Commissioner, may appeal the apportionment, within fifteen (15) days after the County Board approves the Special Assessment Roll by Resolution. Appearance and protest on the 15th day of September, 2005 is required in order to appeal the amount of the Special Assessment to the State Tax Tribunal. An owner or party in interest, or his or her agent, may appear in person at the hearing to protest the Special Assessment or shall be permitted to file his or her appearance of protest by letter and his or her personal appearance shall not be required.

METHOD OF CALCULATING LOCH ERIN LAKE LEVEL

SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT APPORTIONMENT

- Non-platted parcels with shoreline frontage were prorated in proportion to legal description and tax maps from the Lenawee County Equalization Department using scale shown below.

- Non-plated parcels with lake access are computed at .06% each.

- Platted back lots are computed at .06% each.

- Parks that are owned by Loch Erin Property Owners Association do not receive an assessment.

- Platted lake front lots were prorated in proportion to recorded plat shoreline frontage using scale below:
