Frequently Asked Questions
| What is a DWF file | ||||||
|
-A DWF (Design Web Format) file is a Autodesk format for a web browser
displayable electronic map. It allows for a small file size and some
basic interactivity (panning, displaying layers, zooming). Files in
this format require the Autodesk Design Review program to display, most users will have to
download it in order to view the file. This will automatically start the
moment you attempt to view the file. The program will only need to be
downloaded once, subsequent viewings of this or other DWF maps will be very
fast. The Program can also be downloaded through the Autodesk, Inc. website or this direct link. Simply download the software and install.

| Why won't the DWF map display | ||||||
| -The first time you load a DWF map it is likely that you will have to download the Autodesk Design Review Software, this will automatically download when you try to load one of these maps, due to its size however (roughly 39.1MB) it will take a few minutes to load. Simply wait for the download to finish and a install window will open. Continue through the install process until finished and the file should be viewable. If not please either use the JPEG image files or consult your system administrator. | ||||||
